Nuclear medicine administers radiopharmaceuticals with stability guarantees into the body to analyze physiological and the pathological state of each organ, diagnoses and treats diseases. The Nuclear medicine division consists of two sections; a diagnosis section that diagnoses diseases with gamma cameras and PET/CT imaging in the process of treatment for various diseases including tumors, and a treatment section that uses radioisotope.

The Nuclear medicine division is equipped with SPECT/CT and PET/CT for imaging diagnosis and conducts radioactive iodine therapy for thyroid cancer patients. Particularly, PET/CT makes images of biochemical metabolic disorders of the body, which can make early diagnosis of cancers and find minute changes through images of biochemical changes.
