Nuclear Medicine
The Department of Nuclear Medicine is a specialty area that diagnoses using images produced by gamma-rays emitted by a radioactive tracer with a gamma camera and PET-CT and treats diseases using radioactive isotopes. The Department of Nuclear Medicine plays an important role in staging of various cancers, deciding the effectiveness of the treatments, and diagnose relapse. We are also making our best efforts to evaluate functions of body organs qualitatively and quantitatively, participate in the treatment of the patients and contribute to the improvement of survival and quality of life.
